Trem HD folding transom wheels with fittings.

Set of Trem HD flip up transom wheels with fittings as shown.

These are the heavy duty set rated to 180kg (per wheel) so they will suit the smallest to largest of SIB/ outboard setups.

The HD rating is achieved with a lug that goes on a button towards the lower part of the transom. This button is fitted from new on most Aerotec/Futura/Classic models but this kit includes a pair of buttons so they can be fitted to any make of SIB.

They will flip up or with just one pin per leg withdrawn can be removed. There are two pairs of retaining pins supplied. Bolt sets are supplied for bracket fitting and these would cope with transoms up to about 30mm thickness.

These are ex-Gurnard and have been on my Aerotec since last year, however a change in the way we use our SIB means they are surplus. Gurnard and I have agreed the sale price (excluding postage) will be donated to Macmillan.

This is them new at a retail of almost £180, they are rarely seen discounted below £145... TREM S/S LAUNCHING WHEELS MAX 180Kg (PAIR) - Boat Sales,Chandlery,Engine Sales,Repairers,Marine Engineers,Electronics

£50 with £12 postage, well packed in a large box sent fully tracked by UPS on a 24/48hr service (Highlands and Islands please contact for a quote).

Images below of what you'll receive, and of them on my Aerotec.

Hi all,

Fitted the wheels but found then very difficult to engage and lock even with the smaller pin

I took them apart to find the channel on both brackets was splayed outward so I nipped them up in a vice and with a spot of grease they are now operating just fine and dandy

Once again very pleased

Glad you got them sorted BP. I've found on several fittings of these that they need a bit of fine tuning on each different installation to get just the right amount of retention force.

Yes I did have them quite tight... nervous of them unlatching at speed on a bumpy sea!
