I have a Grundig 32 inch widescreen CRT telly that had an excellent picture until it turned itself off one evening a couple of weeks ago.
I’m convinced it’s just the power supply, as not even the power light comes on at the front, and all the onboard fuses are intact, plus the one in the plug.

Anyway, it’s been in the dining room ever since as I’ve brought a 37 inch HD LCD, and I’ve been planning to put a new power supply in it.
Mrs Nasher wants shot of it by tomorrow evening when some friends are coming round, so if anybody local thinks they can mend it, they can have it.

It’ll go in the garage until the weekend when it’ll probably end up at the tip.
I can put it in the back of the car so it can be collected from Hilsea all day tomorrow if it’s easier.

I didn't know they still made Grundigs.

I have one as well - hang on to it - they still give a better picture than an over large laptop screen!!!

With the LCD screens it's hard to know who actually makes what - Wharfedales for example are actually Samsungs and no doubt Grundig just buy them in as well.
