Having spent many hours, days and weeks trying to find an A frame and then finding one to fit proved impossible. Your best bet is to go to a local metal fabrication company on an industiral estate near to you.

They will then meaure it and give you a price, this way you know it will fit perfectly.

I had a back rest done this way and saved a lot over new ones made by outhill boatbuilders. its worth trying as they might not charge too much in this current climate. Good luck.

Barry - Pics as requested of the old boat with back rest i had made. Sorry cant work out how to zoom onto the back rest so this is the best i can do. However you can make out (just) the area where i had the plates made for the bolts etc.
