Spares for OLD Yamaha 3.5hp aircooled outboard
I have an old (70's or 80's) Yamaha outboard that has an integral metal fuel tank. The motor runs really well - well it did until the starter recoil spring snapped. Does anyone have one of these old Yamaha 3.5HP Aircooled motors for spares or repair that has the recoil mechanism working still that they might be willing to sell - either just the mechanism or the whole motor?
Bits keep wearing out (like the throttle handle, and throttle cable that will soon need replacing) so it may be easier if I can get a non runner for spares rather`than keep looking for new spares each time!
