Seagull for sale & @4HP Outboard Wanted

Hi all

I've decided the seagull engine that came with the two smaller Nashers new toy is not really little finger friendly. Especially one that is constantly in gear and needs a hand over the carb intake for a few seconds to stop it.

So, I have a March 1965 Forty Plus that I'm open to offers for.
It starts and runs sweetly and isn't too bad cosmetically either.

What I need is around a 3.5 - 5HP outboard that should have a built in fuel tank, and either Neutral/gear selection or a centifugal clutch. Johnson seahorse etc.

Not too bothered about cosmetics, as it'll get re-sprayed, but it needs to be cheap. ie under £100. Or I can offer my time with trailer servicing etc.

If it's the brass tank model and there's no dents in it then ebay it. You'll be flooded with offers. I just sold a '66 40+ for £125-and the guy paid me courier prices to deliver it.

Didn't think I'd get that much for it, they seem to go for a lot less.

They normally do but there's some kind of fanatical following for ones with undented brass tanks...
