Ribquest 7.8 Bare hull
Hello,
Sorry I have no pics yet but is anyone interested in a Ribquest 7.8 hull. It needs fitting out and some work but has never been in the water.
I bought it with a view to run commercially but am unable to do this for a few years so have decided to sell.
This is the same hull that Bear Grills used and is built to commercial standards.
You will need a trailer but it comes with a nice dolly to work on it.
Pics to come at the weekend.

They did and got taken over buy another company. I believe they are not doing too bad currently by exporting RIBs to Navys .

Answers to some questions,
Yes it is decked out. May need a top sheet of glass to finish off.
The transom is high and uncut so can be used for inboard or outboard.
There I a stainless tank I think is 150 or 200 litres. Large anyway.
I do have some other bits like a barrel of resin and roll of fibreglass. Thick A frame that needs securing plates added. Anchor chain cover as there is stowage on the front.
I will try to upload pics on Friday.

Theses are the images. She is a very nice hull and I am still wavering on weather to sell or not.
I have the CE plate, single A frame tube that is really thick but needs plates wielding. A cover for the anchor bow store.
So far it stands me at 2k so that is what I will sell her for.
However, I need to point out that the hull has some imperfections on the hell coat due to bubbles. These are minor and my plan was to fill and antifoul. They do not affect the integrity of the hull.
Below are the pictures of the imperfections.
Highest offer buy the end of next week can collect and also take at least £200 worth of dolly stand.

After consideration, if this does not go by Sunday eve I will be keeping this as I have now found new storage.
Ribquest sold these bare hulls at 7k and a slightly marked one like this is at least worth 6k
There will be no second chances and the price will not be reduced.
This is a bargain hull for someone if not me

Hi,
It's was built late 2010 I believe.
David was going to use it to take to Ribfest but as there were the imperfections on the gel coat he decided to cast another. The plan was then to use it as a demo boat but alas Ribquest sadly went under before.
Now under new management in Chesterfield where the same hull is being used.
