We have a rollercoaster 9 which would do this for you and it is available for a measly 20 pound cheque made out to Ribnet or the NSPCC or Hamble Rescue ( your Choice)

It's availablerafter the weekend and you can call 02380 905246
or 077784 401963. I don't know you so you will have to convince me you are on the level but other than that it's not a problem

What Wavehumper didn't say is that whilst his boats are nicely tucked up for the winter (waiting for some expensive Optimax bits) he has borrowed mine to go charging around the Solent in.

I know bit suspicious isn't it. He promised to give me a hand with the GRP this morning, then rings me up saying he is driving around in someone elses Range Rover cos he broke his Landy(shock!) and flogging second hand TVs to the cops of all people. He is following in the footsteps of Paul Lemmer.

Anyway think he has the heart of gold, he will need it with the price of Opti spares, now if he had bought a nice Pacific 22.......

Nonsense I've got a full head of hair and I haven't ,unfortunately ,been out on a boat since about November.

The Scorpon/Optimax is now fixed and I am quite irritated by the cause of the problem.

As you mentioned selling second hand stuff does anybody want to buy a Soldering iron!

Pete are you DPM Rawlings

Full head of hair, hah!

What have you (or was it Jasp?) done to the landy then? You've not been driving that posh Range Rover of Rob's have you? It felt so wrong me getting in that in my dirty work gear to go to McDonald's whilst I was down there.

So what was it that was wrong with the Scorpion then?

Cheers,
Matt

Yeah Rob has gone to Goa for a couple of weeks and lent me his Range Rover. I'm afraid I have gone all soft and started to like the creature conforts. I am particlarly taken with the heated seats but I am not particularly taken with the 15.5 mpg.

Jasper was driving the Landy when the prop shaft snapped so It's no big deal.

The problem with the Scorpion was the main engine cable had corroded. It was joined half way along the tunnel by a nut and bolt a real bodge with the inevitable result. When I have the time time I am going to try and find out who did IT!
When the engine failed the message was data bus error so we presumed it was an engine fault

so there

cheers Stuart
