This is a low hours engine which starts first time.
This engine was fitted in 1999 and has had very little use. The boat was used on a lake until I bought it last year as a safety boat for the queens diamond Jubilee river pageant. (You can see it running on any of the footage as we were behind Gloriana. As you can see there is very little corrosion. All the stickers are original. I have run the engine for 10 days in total and it has started and run first turn of the key every time.
The engine comes with:
Gauges (fuel, taco and temperature)
Stainless laser 2 prop
In June prior to the Jubilee I fitted the following:
New water impeller (There was no corrosion on the top of the gear box and the anodes did not need to be replaced),
New float switch for the oil header tank,
new ECU unit,
new ignition, new sparkplugs,
new silicon cooling hoses.
Ther compression which is perfect on all 6 cylinders
I am only selling as I am upgrading to a larger engine as the boat it is on is very heavy. It is still fitted to the boat so you are welcome to come and have a look / start it from cold.
