Does it have to be a 60 Mariner. I'm sure your thinking 3 cylinder. Would a 55 Yamaha be of any use?

I'm afraid not, you are entering old school boating. Would be able to provide a good control box. What I can say is that the 55 yam is bulletproof and parts are usually available on ebay or from the states and good value for money.

What boat would it be going on?
