Matt, would be worth having a chat with crazy John on 07770 665109. He works near Bordon just down the road from you and is a landrover fanatic. Normally has several knocking about.

Would calling him "Crazy John" be wise, or would it have the same effect as witholding Manning's daily ration of Jameson's? (ie Violence)?

No think he is quite happy with that description, he is into serious off roading all over Europe and weekends in the mud on Salisbury Plain. Aging Youth, Jimbo and a few others have benefitted from his help over the years. He also keeps my Disco running. Has an interesting collection of vehicles so may have something suitable.

Doesn't matter if it's already had x-member etc already done (as long as was done well), just don't want to buy something that'll I'll immediately have to strip down!

Matt, just found another 90 but with 2.5 n/a engine and lots extras on her. Saldy was a V8 but they converted her to diesel, so it could go back to V8 again or run it on cooking oil. His work number is 01420 485804, ask for Frankie.

Really would like it to currently have a V8 - even if broken since "just" an engine swap I could do in a weekend.

Having to swap sxhausts, wiring, g-box etc - could turn into a lengthy/expensive project.

I'm sure we can find something to suit Sir...again.. this time, don't get it nicked.... does Sir need those years for anything in particular..and does Sir have a figure in mind? Is Sir particularly fussy about the wheel base as long as it's around that Number? Is Sir in a hurry or can Sir wait for a while? We have available a very..and I mean very.. nice 100" 4.2 with a Galv Chassis and a L/Tweight body..and all the whistles and bells....in the shed of toys...and I feel we may have an older 90 coming in soon... C'mon Streako, don't be a stranger...give us a call....

Year doesn't really matter, just seemed realistic for 2.5 to 3k price tag. Pretty convinced on coil sprung though.
