For sale: Used iPhone 3G 8GB

Makes a change to be posting an iPhone advert here, rather than deleting it as spam!

I've just upgraded to a new iPhone 3GS, and my regular 3G is up for grabs. Before I stick it on Ebay I thought I'd offer it on here to see if anyone wants it.

The phone is 18 months old, and has been used daily. It's in perfect working order. It has always been kept in a protective case and is in good condition with no scratches, although the chrome bezel is slightly worn.

I replaced the screen a few months ago after it got damaged. In the process I managed to get a slight fingerprint on the inside of the glass. It only shows when the phone is switched off, and doesn't affect the phone at all. Thought I'd better mention it though!

The phone is the 8GB iPhone 3G and has the latest operating software (3.1.2). It is on O2 and has not been unlocked. It comes with the original box, charger and lead, and unused earphones.

On Ebay these are going for between £200 and £250 (even broken ones are fetching over £150!). I'm offering it on RIBnet for £200 including postage. Any takers?

Decided to try Gumtree instead of Ebay, as I would prefer to sell it face to face having been messed around selling phones on Ebay before.

Got the asking price in my hand about 5 hours after posting the ad.
