I have a brand new never been started evinrude 4HP folding outboard with a carry case and original receipt and paper work for sale I am open to offers but please nothing silly I am not deserate to sell it I just want it out of the front room

Hi apshutt, yes I have the one I got from you running now, all I had to do was rebuild the fule pump, the carb, new impeller and houseing, free the water inlets and outlets, renewed both sets of point, coils and condensers, and renew fule pipes, but it runs nice lol, that one is sat in the garage, This it to nice to leave in the garage

I'm glad you got it running. That fella who gave it to me still hasn't contacted me. I think the work you have done would have seen me selling it for scrap!
I am looking for an 8hp yam/Tohatsu ss 2stoke at the mo.

Thank you Andy and a merry christmas to you and all on rib.net, I will ask around and see if there are any 8Hp outboards going, dont ruel out Johnson/evinrude they are are bloody good engines

I've got a 6hp Evinrude and love it. Original condition. But I want a bigger one (Max for my rib is 8) and not too heavy. The Yams and Tohatsu seem lighter. ;@)
