We've never met Biffer, but I've enjoyed the many threads you've posted over the years. Health has to be number one - good luck with it all.

Morning Toby, I'm doing ok, it's been worked out that the dust and the GRP are pulling me down, the after effects of the cancer treatment means I have no saliva and can't get rid of all the airborne particles, on top of that the styrene in the grp makes me ill.
Little bits are ok but full on days of laying up will probably kill me eventually

Thanks for the odd few jobs you've done for me Biff, but health has to come first! I'm sure everything will work out fine for you. Good luck in the West Country!

At the end of the day Biff it's just a boat You did the right thing in making a decicision before you started our cabin conversion,It would have been tricky if you had to abandon half way through.Your doctor is the man to heed and I hope you won't be tempted to ignore his sound council.Ross and I will just have to brave the elements for a while in our Scorpion ,but that's what dry suits were made for All the best mate and keep your pecker up

As a lot of you know I'm being made redundant at the moment but it's really dragging on

I've been talking to Biff about these moulds for a long time and I've even bought a Yamaha inboard and leg ready to build my own.

I've bought these moulds today because I think the design is excellent and I didn't want to see the moulds disappear somewhere.

I won't just be doing cabins but restorations too and may be new builds but who knows.

So don't worry, I'll be able to offer cabins quite soon with a little help from Biffer

A deal was struck today where I will take whisper under my wing for a little while, probably for the rest of my fecking life if the truth be know, I can oversee and give guidance to our man and ensure it all works as it should and everyone get a proper job, I can understand how it all looks daunting but it's really quite simple if you follow the basic rules, I know he will pick this up really quickly because he has the passion to do it and it's more than just a job to him, I hope in a little time, Alex with my help, can do a cabin for the guy I let down, you lot know what he's like so watch this space and wait for the pictures
