I have another of these never fitted brand new in box collection west mids. £120.00

Worked well on my last rig. For easy retrieval , no longer required

Can through in a small 250mm sq battery for £20 extra. Takes up no room on the trailer. Recovers loads before needing a charge

all he deserves the miserable fellow.

The stuff costs 60 quid a litre (more than an annual RYA membership) and the Philistine puts Coke in it.

Stuff him I'll buy him a bottle of 3 Barrels perhapsn and come round yours with the Hennessy

Hi, What size weight boat did it pull? I am looking in to electric winches and not sure what they will actually pull boat wise. Would a 3000lb winch pull a 800kg RIB on to a roller trailer?
Thanks in anticipation

I have a 500kg jockey winch and it will pull car and boat up a sandy beach when wheels are spinning. Rolling load is much less than actual weight of rig.

Just to let you know I have used the winch and I wish I had bought one years ago.

From clipping on to being fully on the trailer 44 seconds! I find it amazing such a small compact unit can drag the boat up so quick.
I use a large plastic battery box with the control box and battery fitted in it. I fitted Anderson plug/socket just after the motor. The main length of cable coils up and fits in the battery box when not in use.
When I want to use the winch I open the tailgate, uncoil the cable plug into the motor and away we go. I use a 45Ah battery that I keep charged up using a auxiliary (grey) towing plug wired for the battery charging circuit so when not in use I can just unplug and store.
Hope the info is of value, any questions just ask and I will try and answer for you.
