deck hatch

Hi all, i am looking for a large deck hatch for the front of my Pacific, ideally want a hatch as close to 520mm cut-out/opening and square as possible or an oblong.

possible sizes 520 x 520, 500 x 600, must be able to walk on fibreglass or aluminium.

any idea's or suppliers details gratefully received, MOD surplus etc new or used.

Cheers
Ian

Pacific deck hatch

Hi Ian,
I replaced the foredeck of my Pacific 2 years ago and decided
to utilise the huge amount of space "down there".
I found a plastic hatch on eBay from International Marine Supplies, I'm not sure if they still have an EBay shop but I think they still have a website. It's a square hatch approx 550mm it was the largest I could fit between the longitudinal deck supports.
I think I paid around £50, it's not as butch as a Bowman and I wouldn't like to jump up and down on it (I'm 19 stone!)but it's fine to stand/ walk on.
I fitted a large fish box below decks to contain all the gear stored.

cheers razor
i had seen these and i don't know if i will be able to find anything bigger, that is the reason for the post, want the biggest hatch possible as it will save emptying the whole lot out to find stuff that's in the bottom.

Ian we've got some hatches in stock if you get in touch later in the week I'll measure them for you - I'm the wrong side of the world waiting for a plane at the moment!
