For Sale: Car reg RIB 3200

A friend of mine has a car registration RIB 3200, hes thinking of selling the motor but may take the plates/license off on a cherished plate transfer. Car is northern Ireland registered - plastes could be transfered direct to UK mainlanland car on paying the DVLA transfer fee.

Basically - he has no interest in boats - and trying to see if the plate is worth anything? So any ideas or should he just put it on ebay??

As a guide "Rib4999" is available for £475 "Rib480" is £1300

Not sure if the numbers will mean anything to anybody on your mates. If it does it's worth more, if not its a hard sell over any other "Rib" plate

I bought R18 NUT a few years ago from DVLA initially thinking I would use it on a car, but in the end thought I could sell this on to help fund my RIB build, it was a hard sell and had the plate over a year (had to pay another years holding charge). In the end it worked out in my favor as I swapped it for some Stainless works on said boat. Sorry no Idea on what someone will pay for it, stick it in the Ads section for a price ono and see what happens.
