Wasn't the weight. In fact they only ask for the weight when you ring them up. Driver said he can't take anything that he can't get his arms around. Showed him how he could lift it in the middle but he was having non of it. It's the buyer I feel it for as he had it all worked out to go on his RIB

I find all this amazing.

A couple of years ago I sold a Long Shaft Johnson 150VRO and the buyer had it collected by I think TNT on pallet. It cost him under £30.

I've also had all sorts of stuff delivered by parcelforce, some of which was very bulky such a one piece bike fairing.

The tight git!

I was looking at an A frame off Olly and spoke to the company about delivery. Basically if it fits on a palley and weighs less than a tonne they'll deliver it for that price.

Parcelforce will deliver anything they can get they're arms around. BMC advised me the console was around 20KG but they get a good rate for delivery due to there contract.
TNT worked on cubic mass and so did DHL. DHL wouldn't take it full stop, TNT gave me the price and if the buyer wanted to pay that much I'd have taken it myself for 20 quid less! Same goes for every other courier.

No he wasn't mate. Just by the time you added postage on at that price he may as well have gone to BMC himself.

Thanks Rick,
Interparcel price ranged from £116 to £129 and P4D.co.uk said no.

A hell of a detour really mate. Would add a couple of hours onto your trip.
I'm in Pwllheli on the 10th of April if that's any use?
