Wanted: 40hp Short Shaft Outboard - 4 or 2 Stroke

Hi,

I'm still on the hunt for a 40hp Short Shaft (15.5") Outboard for my 4M Zodiac. It need to be remote rather than tiller and no older than circa 2005 ideally. Not obsessed by knowing the exact hours, but I do want a well serviced and maintained model. Prefer Mariner or Mercury if possible.

I also have a 2003 Mariner 15hp 4-stroke (short shaft) in pretty good condition that I'll be selling if that suits anyone's needs here? It's remote and can come with full controls, fuel tank and loom if needed. Not sure what it's worth though?

Got a great looking Yamaha 40 VETO from a new member here - #wishy - collected today. Boat and new engine gone in to BHG Lym today - hopefully there's to be a little outing soon to have a blast......
