Transport of large SIB

Recently purchased an 18 foot Achilles and intend on using a 50hp engine. Rather than use a conventioanl trailer, I was hoping to use a smaller trailer on which the boat could be deflated and folded. The main issue is the engine. Is anyone aware of a method through which the engine could remain mounted as the boat is folded on the trailer? I recall seeing a similar system used on a large Zodiac several years ago.

Had a inflatable with a 40hp a long time ago, had it on a trailer but would take the engine off & lay it in the boat then trailering! Saved the transom a bit of where!

I used to have a 5.85m Zodiac inflatable, which I decided to get a full bed trailer for.
I did look at the deflate and stack option but the costs were coming out rather close and as I was often working solo or as good as so went the other way.
The military have a space frame / cage made up that you can put the engine into to make it easier to move and strap down to a trailer.
After running with a hand stear 50 for a while your arm and shoulder will be rather sore even if you have the shoulders of a Bear! and bearhugging a 50 hp outboard on and off a transom can be hernia inducing and if you haven't had one may I suggest you keep it that way they are not fun :sick:
