Oops, hope nobody was too hasty  stingray 08 November 2004, 11:02 Blimey ,that was close Rupert ,still not sure, does the green nmea out on the 182 go to the nmea + on the 421,and nmea in white to 421-. Jon Brooks 08 November 2004, 11:53 Blimey ,that was close Rupert ,still not sure, does the green nmea out on the 182 go to the nmea + on the 421,and nmea in white to 421-. Garmin NMEA out it normally the blue lead. This goes to the NMEA + in the M421 THe outer goes to NMEA - or ground on the Garmin stingray 08 November 2004, 15:19 so i can use any of the nmea out on the182,think thats where i was getting confused Rupert Bear 08 November 2004, 15:39 I can't remember the clours precisely without checking but do know for certain that Ch1 is Blue and brown and fairly sure ch2 is Green and white with yellow for alarms. which one is + and - I can't say without checking the manual. You can use either ch 1 or ch2 for the VHF as long as you enable the relevant channel in the menu of the Garmin. |
