Looks like loads of new ribsters (and sibsters) in the making. By the way, why do those boats in the background have long poles poking out of their decks? Cheers Keith Hart baixamar 26 March 2002, 08:01 Nice crew Phil! How did you get so many lifejackets? Phil 26 March 2002, 11:10 Those things with poles - a funny affliction on the East Coast? One of the mothers asked me where my boat was-thought that the Humber 8m was a tender! This was a birthday party for one of my kids;a short cruise on the Orwell moored at Harwich and took fish and chips in the Pier Hotel.A treasure hunt followed then the trip home. If you are at all interested in the area take a look at www.hha.co.uk which has some excellent info. The new moorings at Ha'penny Pier in Harwich are ideal for a short visit to the town although you can stay overnight Alan 26 March 2002, 11:13 Thats a hell of a boatload you have there Phil! Interesting about the moorings @ Harwich. Never stopped there before and always good to have somewhere to stop for a coffee and bacon sarnie.
