has any one seen/heard anymore about the new icom fixed vhf/dsc. i have been keeping an eye on the icom website but not had any luck so far.
i heard it was about the size of the m401 and that it would be priced between £250-£300 but thats about all i know.
can anyone shed any light on the matter.

I believe a demo set will be on the Icom stand at the Southampton Boat Show this month. Jon Brooks (Superradioman) will be able to give you further details - either wait for him to post or PM him. HTH :hi:

The radio is called the M421, will be launched at the boat show.
SRP will be £246.77+ VAT.
Street price will be about £250 -£260 inc
It will be on our web site early next week.
All the main elcetronis dealers at the show will have stock.
Fully waterproof and with 3 year warranty (if you fill the card in!)
What else do you want to know?
