One for the radio anoraks (or Jon Brooks :D !!), and it might be a dumb question, but what is the difference between an Icom IC-M1Euro and an Icom IC-M1EuroV?
Is one just older than the other?
Any ideas what the 'V' is?

Euro V is a newer model, better waterproofing etc. Far toooo late to type any more.

Thanks - that'll do!! I won't bother looking at the one on e-bay then......... :D

I think the M1 Euro does not the accessory socket on the top where with the euro V you can have a speaker/mircophone.

All is correct
M1 was only "slashproof" and no mic socket

M1 was only "slashproof"
Erm, does this mean it only was protected from damage occurring late at night after copious quanities of Beamish?
