4.7 searider
1998 75hp mariner ptt

The boat is in Donegal, 30min from Derry City, Northern Ireland.
There is a lorry returning to uk, midlands in a couple of weeks and the boat can be sent free of charge.
If anyone likes, they could see the boat by flying to Derry, I could collect them, take the boat out for a run and drop them back to Derry later that day.

I had a 5.4 searider before this one and two 4 metre seariders before that,
The 75 was on the 5.4 when I bought from the coast guard.

The 4.7 was bought for ease of towing and launching, I needed a jeep and help for the
bigger one the 4.7 is perfect size.

It was a tender on a 100 foot in France before I managed to get it. This size searider is
hard to find, took me ages.

It goes extremely well a little tlc wouldn't go a miss.

The trailer should have the rollers looked at, bearings, tyres and winch fine.

A patch, 6" was professionally fitted, rear starboard cone, to fix a 3" tare.

The hull is fine, I recently spotted any minor chips or scrapes I could see with gel coat, my son had scraped it putting it on the trailer, nothing deep but better safe than sorry.

The boat had been put a mooring close to mussel farm so, I put on a black antifouling paint, which could be removed easily

Seariders are not most glamour's ribs, but it's one of the best handling and safe ribs you could be in. I have used it weekly since May, It's great fun heading into wind, really well balanced, and when you stop it sits very stable thanks to the water ballast

regards joe
