I'm thinking of buying a Bullet cam and am trying to find out if the 520 is worth spending twice the amount over the 480.
Is there anyone that has used both?

If you are going to want to wach it on a big screen TV then the 520 will be noticeably better. A lot comes down to the recording method as well are you going to use solid state or DV Tape? Hightower 04 May 2009, 23:46 Was going to use my existing Cannon DV tape Camcorder, but cost is an issue in the short term. I wanted something I could use whilst taking a friend, his Son and Son's Girlfriend out on the water in a couple of weeks for a Pirates cruise across to the Island to celebrate a birthday. I can't reliably helm the RIB and take shots at the same time and my friend is rubbish at taking Video. Tony 05 May 2009, 05:54 Hi Andy Is the video for You tube or to watch on the big screen? I have a 520 bullet cam and wasn't over impressed with it. all the mucking around with wires and batteries is a pain. I bought a GOPRO hero wide, its dead easy and the quality is pretty good. Tony Tony's Gopro wide is the way to go for me. As I'm a camera geek I've been looking into them ever since seeing Tony's quality video's. They are a great piece of kit. Just no pennies to buy on ! :( Hightower 05 May 2009, 15:44 Hi Andy Is the video for You tube or to watch on the big screen? Tony Tony, I have read your thread and am impressed. But as already mentioned I haven't the money for such an expence at the moment and was hoping for something I could purchase in the next couple of weeks. |
