Standard Horizon chartplottersRogue Wave 05 March 2009, 23:16 The works boat presently has a Simrad CR40 and I'd like to augment it with a Standard Horizon Chartploter which kinda fits well with the Standard Radio I'm buying. Question is did I see some comments on this forum that the chertplotters weren't too waterproof/reliable has anybody had any problems with them at all. tim griffin 06 March 2009, 06:03 Got through 4 in one season If you do get one whack some gaffir tape around it not pretty but effective. Has not failed me yet and very simple to use with good graphics .
