Sorry no however, if you're looking for a decent handheld waterproof vhf then I have the Standard Horizon HX260E which, is fully submersible (so they claim). It isn't however DSC.

I believe that Standard Horizon are pretty new to the retail consumer market but specialise and have much history in the commercial field for telecomunications. Hence, they price was very good (£149.00 if I recall) and they're offering a no quibble money back 12 months guarantee.

I have found it very good. Multi-functional, big clear display, D/W, Scan, Prefered Channels, Lock, SQ, etc. Furthermore I can make Holyhead CG from Pwhelli 5-5.

I belive tha new hand held dsc, is capable as being used for routine dsc traffic, it can only send a distress via dsc.

Whilst this has obvious advantages in a distress situation, it cannot be used instead of a regular fixed dsc/vhf.
