One of kids has one, we clip it to his skiing helmet. The prob is you're not viewing through them and miss most of what your trying to film. Pretty good if your just filming where your going rather than a specific target.

I have a couple of cameras, a cheap one and a good one, the difference in the quality is noticeable the colours and contrast are much better on the good one which is a DogCam.

However at £150 a pop they are on the expensive side.

What do you record onto with the Costco one is is integral?

Is it the ATC3K Action Cam you bought?
And can you close the visor with the camera mounted?

@GED: now that you have the camera for a couple of weeks, my questions:

What do you think of it, quality of the images, handling, etc?
How does it fit to the Gecko helmet?

I'm thinking of getting the ATC3k Action Camera but I want to be sure.

Its a great little toy and very easy to use, quality is not the best but for the price its great...as for fitting pop out the ear piece on the helmet, and just screw it in with its own fittings they supply with the camera

And some mountain biking action:

The only thing that is not very good is the sound quality of it, other than that it is great.
