The value will really depend on the make and the age -- what does "good condition" mean?
Dive boats do have a tendency to be worked harder than RIBs just used as runabouts, so take that into account.
Have you seen the feature on buying secondhand (http://www.rib.net/old.htm)?
Let us know how you get on!

The site is great - i'll be highly recommending it to others with RIBS.
I am looking to replace the RIB i currently have and i wonder if anyone can give me their opinion on one i'm looking at.
I'm not sure of the make but it's a 6.5 metre in good condition, been used for diving, has a 175HP Yamaha engine which runs very well, Power trim/tilt, full electrics with comprehensive navigation system and colour fish finder/ depth monitor, VHF radio, stereo, trailer. it seems to have plenty of extras as well.
The price asked is £9000 (located near Nottingham, Midlands) and i wonder if this seems reasonable from this information?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks John,
That section is very useful. I found out that the boat was manufactured in 1998 and the engine was new in 1997. In terms of it's condition, I think youre right about the diving use although i have found very few faults with it, all round. My only concern really is the reliability of the engine. However the section in the site, again, is very helpful regarding this.
Thanks again.

The boat it a 'Temptress' who apparently have been tken over by another company nowadays and therefore operate under a different name.
Have you ever heard of them?
