This is a 1991 Avon Searider Ex Coastguard rib ( rigid hull inflatable ) boat.
It has a year 2000 50 hp Tohatsu outboard with hydraulic tilt, stainless steel propeller and a top speed of 35 mph. The boat is layed out with a center console jockey seat and a rear stainless steel bench seat. It has a console vhf and antenna, spare propeller, fuel consumption gauge, full running lights, automatic trim tabs,compass, trim gauge, rpm gauge, and a removable sunbrella bow dodger, 19 gallon fuel tank, water/fuel seperator, and a custom made ANSI certified boat sling (for the RANCH). The entire console, seat, and bench have been custom fabricated from motorcycle tubing, marine grade aluminum, and stainless steel. The tubes are in great condition and don't leak air. There is only one patch at the tail end of one of the cones.
This is a hardcore boat. I used this boat exclusively for crossing the channel to Catalina and Santa Cruz Islands. The trip takes about 1 hour (26 miles). Even in the worst crossing conditions the boat is a dry ride. If you're looking for a versatile, hardcore, and safe boat that can park in your garage this is it! This kit is in turn key condition and has been well taken care of.
