Anyone have any ideas why? its only 2 years old I would guess that its the anti glare coating that is scratched rather than the surface, I had the same problem as they did have a problem with this for a while and the coating was a bit soft, I was lucky i sent mine back before the warentee ran out and its been fine since, i have also heard that it can be removed with an amonia based cleaner but have never tried it out myself. regards Mark jwalker 12 October 2006, 19:05 ...the screen was so dull you couldn't see anything really.Apologies if this is obvious, could the backlight have been in night viewing mode or simply need the brightness increased via a menu option? codprawn 12 October 2006, 19:43 It looks like it's had a whack.....
