The result after a reasearch on what electronic equipment RIBsters have on their RIBs in Greece.

In a statistical analysis that was carried out in Greece to see what electronic gear people carry on their RIBs the following were found


LOA 4.50-4.80 mtrs 25% ……..50%……75%………100%
Portable GPS………… 25%
Depth Sounders ……………………………………………. 90%

LOA 5.00-6.00 mtrs
VHF Fixed ….…………………… 50%
GPS Plotter …………..25%
Portable GPS …………………………… 65%
Depth Sounders ……… 25%

LOA 6.00-7.00 mtrs
VHF Fixed …………………………………………80%
GPS Plotter ………………. 30%
Portable GPS ………………………………………. 80%
Depth Sounder ..…………………….. 50%

LOA 7+
VHF Fixed …....……………………………………………….. 95%
GPS-Plotter ........................................ 75%
Portable GPS …..…… 25%
Depth Sounder ………………………. 50%

The above results are self explanatory.
However, does any one know what is the situation in the UK??
