i have ordered a new 178c Garmin, can i use my old bluechart datacard,(2005) in it?? or is all the info lost once you install it,thanks chaps!!

Downhilldai 31 August 2006, 22:49 If its a pre-programmed data card, then you'll be ok to use it in any unit, as you please. If it's one you've programmed from a Bluechart CD ROM and used with an 'unlock code' to access the chart information on your old plotter, then you'll be able to unlock one more device, so again, should be ok, provided only one unit has previously been unlocked with your code. |
