I'm looking at getting a Quicksilver 340AD as my 2.65 yam is a bit small for the family when we are not using the rib!
I'm also considering a Zodiac Cadet Fastroller 340 Acti-V, do you get more for the extra these cost?
All thoughts & comments welcome!

The zodiac 340 acti-v hadles very well because of the inflatable floor/keel also it planes nicely and tracks well through choppy water.

Have a look at the Avon range as well - great boats.

I have a Quicksilver 310 and very happy with it. It has a wooden floor which is a PITA to setup but does make it very rigid.

Depends how often you intend rolling the thing up etc. If it's going on a roofrack or tyrailer I would go for a wooden floor - if it's going in and out of the car then airdeck.

On my 310 I have a Suzuki 15hp 4 stroke which is great - does almost 25mph and really sips the fuel. When I stick the Suzuki on my RIB as an aux I may buy a Tohatsu 18hp 2 stroke for the SIB - lighter and easier to lie down etc.

Note the power the boats are designed to handle differ with air or wood floors - more power with the wooden floor.
