The only damage it will do to it is to its re-sale value - theres no way i would buy an engine that had been re-sprayed away from the factory colours. Our Special Forces have covers made to cover the engines on various ribs. Use a non-proofed canvas type material - it is less likely to scratch the paint. Covercare in fareham can make them - although I notice you are across the pond and this may not be of much use to you - but it might be for others. Mollers 24 October 2005, 16:45 If you had a really nice job done of the cover and re-applied the graphics it would look good. Any decent car body guy could do the job. Modern plastic primers are superb. Most colour coded bumpers are painted plastic.
