They're out of stock now, incidentally eBay seem to be banging them out around £129 then add £10 p+p = 139 or.....go to JG Tech and get it for £119 delivered... well you've got to laugh!

Funnily enough it's always been like that - Ebay sellers more expensive than a good commercial discounter for GPS. They are a funny comodity - a bluetooth unit with out the LCD screen or interface software still costs £100!

People often pay through the nose for stuff on e-bay - just 'cos they assume its cheap (and generally know someone who has had a bargain before), and can't be bothered looking around for a deal.

I know someone who sells bike stuff, and on their e-bay advert is a link to their website - where they sell the kit directly. They were hoping to use their e-bay listing more as an advert than aiming to sell all their gear directly through e-bay. However - people don't even click on the link!! And pay more in the auction than if they went direct to the site - how idle!!??!!

Well its not that cheap, but their price is less than the actual trade price from the authroised UK Garmin distributor and that includes a quantity order! So I am not sure where they are getting them from. But there is no point in me trying to compete with them as I will go out of business very quickly.

i got mine from boats and outboards, from the web, paid 80 quid for the marine version and it is fab, just as new and she shipped it to me and then i sent the cheque for it.

i think i got a good deal

but if anyone is looking for a garmin gps 72, they look very good to me and the mount and accessories are very high quality

happy chap here
