You can here the stereo on a speed boat, but you have no wind noise to contend with. You could always fit some speakers to the 'A'-frame (Wakeboard tower ones) and fit a sub in the console. You should here it then ))) . Fusion do a range of marine subs and amps fusion (http://www.fusioncaraudio.com/products.php?category_id=35)

You might be able to hear it now, but, by the time you're 50, you'll be able to hear feck all.

Thats exactly what my friend and I were saying today while sitting in my (unfinished) RIB! Ride of the Valkyries - Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
Pookay, where are you from on the island and where abouts do you launch? I may have asked you this before

Live St Helens - but no swing moorings (despite calling in several favours) and could not afford the 140 per ft for a pontoon.
So ended up in Cowes on a walk on pontoon for less money... :-)
My boat lives outside (sometimes inside) Kevin Moles place..
Will have to fit one of those PA type speakers to the bow.... Scare the floating bridge bloke witless... LOL
