This evening, Spirit of Portsmouth arrived in Weymouth for an overnight stop before the official finish at Portsmouth tomorrow. Although they have technically crossed the Atlantic now, their challenge is to cross from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, to Portsmouth, Hampshire, and Alan and the crew won't rest properly until their challenge is complete.

Spirit of Portsmouth is still on schedule to arrive in Portsmouth, Hampshire at 13.00 local time on Saturday 12th.

There will be at least twenty RIBs going out to meet Spirit of Portsmouth in the Solent, and escort them back to Old Portsmouth.
